OVERVIEW

Knowing that academic success and medals are not the end in a child’s life, Aljay Primary School also focuses on co-curricular and character development, service learning and socio-emotional learning. Both the parents and teachers play significant roles in providing a conducive learning environment for the holistic education of our students.

Each pupil is expected to take part in a certain number of sporting and cultural activities. This means that each pupil has to do at least a club and a sport. Tutors monitor the progress of their tutees and ensure that they are adhering to what is expected of them.

The focal point of cultural activities is to develop the life skills of students and meet their interests. In a way, they improve the pupils’ general knowledge and allow them to explore new ventures and avenues. They broaden their horizons and help the youngsters to think outside the box. The list of benefits is endless.
